Cost Accountant with 1 to 3 Years' Experience Cost accountants will need solid organizational, communication, problem solving and research abilities. The company is also seeking strong technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. Typical duties will include: Monitoring unit cost variance. Implementing cost standards for materials and labor. Preparing cost-of-goods-sold and production reports. Reconciling beginning raw-materials, work-in-progress and finished-goods stock.
