Bob Cat Enterprises, Louisville is currently seeking:
a Parts & Rental Counter Specialist To
Provide Legendary Customer Service to walk-in or call-in customers and professionally and efficiently carry-out associated operational and administrative duties to including the following:
· Answering incoming calls and servicing call-in and walk-in customers by answering questions and placing and filling orders.
· Provide sales support to field sales representatives by distributing their business cards and directing customers to their appropriate sales person.
· Sell overall company products to customers and potential customers.
· Communicating with mechanics on availability of rental equipment and filling mechanic’s orders who request parts and posting these parts to the mechanic’s open work order.
· Locating stock in the warehouse to fill orders for customers and mechanics.
· Check inventory levels on the computer and order parts for specific customer requests.
· Checking rental fleet inventory against customer orders.
· Creating and processing rental contracts, tickets, delivery log and customer invoices.
· Working with sales reps to prepare demos and set-up rentals.
· Dispatching drivers on rental deliveries and pick-ups.
· Make rental sales calls to customers.
· Create invoices for the customer parts purchase.
· Prepare work order paperwork for accuracy and forward paperwork to the service department for final billing.
· Maintain display area.
· Make parts sales calls to customers.
· Assist in physical inventories as needed.
· Handle shipping and receiving responsibilities, including putting away stock orders.
· Secure and maintain the cash box.
· Create daily spreadsheet for cash/checks received; send to Corporate office.
· Reconcile petty cash daily and prepare appropriate documentation to accompany it.
· Distribute faxes and handle special projects such as mailings and copying, etc.
· Other duties as required.
Skills Needed:
· Be able perform multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment
· Able and willing to learn equipment and their applications as well as to operate equipment as needed
· Reliable
· Good communication skills, particularly phone skills
· Strong problem solving and customer relations skills
· Excellent organization and recordkeeping skills
· Computer literate and experience in PC / mainframe applications
· Knowledge of parts and their application a plus
· Previous selling experience a plus
· Must complete BEI Equipment Operator Safety Training and obtain certification
Requirements:
· Some equipment usage such as running machines including aerial lifts.
· Able to work in various weather conditions during inventories and when walking the rental yard checking on equipment
· Consistently present customer service image to employees, customers and visitors.
· Work overtime as needed and rotate with other employees to work ½ day on Saturdays throughout the year as needed.
