We need someone who understands the Association industry; enjoys prospecting for new clients and is both willing and able to work as a commission only sales person. We do not believe in capping incentive and are ready to pay a generous percentage commission based on individual productivity. Ideal candidate qualifications: Consultative sales expert 5+ years full-time sales experience Independent, self-starting, aggressive doer Organized and focused with high energy Excellent communicator - written and verbal Connected networker (preferably within industry) Polished presenter  Technologically savvy Here's what we need from you to be considere: 1. Resume submission with cover letter (include and social networking profiles) a. Use any format(s) you'd like b. Employ technology somehow to communicate with us 2. Three specific examples of your previous success in sales a. What did you sell and what did it do? b. How did you accomplish it? How did you organize your selling activities? c. Who were your targets and how did you approach them? d. Why did they buy from you and not someone else? 3. List of references -3 personal and 5 professional a. Who knows you best as a person - friend, family, etc. b. Who can vouch for your work style and ethic 4. List of 20 to 25 high level association industry contacts: a. Type of organization - "Chamber of Commerce" or "Realtor Association" b. General location - "Midwest" or "Chicago" c. Contact title - "VP Membership" or "HR Director" d. Nature of your relationship 5. Get creative. Show us you have a sense of humor, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
