Residential Support Specialist

Overview
Louisville Independent Case Management, LLC is a privately owned agency that began proving supports to individuals with Brain Injuries and Developmental Disabilities in 2001.

Louisville Independent provides a range of supports including case management, behavioral supports, 24 hour residential care, in home care, & respite services. Louisville Independent Case Management is funded through Kentucky Medicaid's Supports for Community Living (SCL) Wavier and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver.

Job Skills/Requirements
Provide skills training to individuals with disabilities living in a three person residential site.
Assist individuals in being active in the community.
Provide assistance with personal hygiene as needed.
Accurately complete Medicaid documentation.
Ensure the residence is clean, providing supports as needed.
Administer all medications as prescribed.
Paid training provided.


Available Shifts
Full time or Part time
8 hour shifts
Work 2-5 shifts per week
Mon-Fri 4p-12a & 12a-8a
Sat-Sun 8a-4p & 4p-12a & 12a-8a


Qualifications
Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible
Desire to work and build strong relationships with individuals with disabilities.
Belief that all individuals, regardless of ability, can learn and are valuable members of society deserving of respect and dignity.
18 years or older with a high school diploma; some college preferred
Satisfactory criminal background screening - no felony convictions
Valid drivers license and reliable properly Insured transportation required
