Requisition Number 0603920 Position Summary: The Department of Safety, Security and Emergency Management in the College of Justice and Safety is pleased to announce an opening for a graduate level tenure track faculty position in the M.S. in Safety, Security and Emergency Management program to begin January 1, 2009. This position will teach a minimum of four (4) online or on campus graduate courses (12 hours with the possibility of up to 5 courses per term) during each of the Fall and Spring semesters and two (2) courses during the Summer term. Graduate faculty approval required. Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a satisfactory criminal background check and educational credential check. Offers of employment are pending a federal background investigation.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Terminal degree (or ABD within 1 year of completion) from a regionally accredited university in safety, emergency management, fire administration or closely related field is required.
Minimum Experience Qualifications: Experience in industrial safety, security management, fire administration, emergency management or closely related field.
