Description:
We are looking for a seasoned professional Inpatient Coder for our client; a 250 bed, acute care hospital in Upstate New York. The qualified candidate will join a 17 member team of Coders. Kforce Professional Staffing and one of the most prestigious, New York health systems want to help you reach your fullest potential in this "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity. Hospital Focus:
· Mothers and babies
· Specialty care for babies
· Rehabilitation and psychiatric services
Additional information:
· Selected candidates will be working with Physicians and Clinical Staff for a CDIP Program
· Coders will be put into the APR DRG program upon hire
· Some relocation assistance can be provided based on candidate qualifications
Requirements:
To qualify, you must have:
· RHIA or RHIT Certification and 1 year of coding experience
· CCS Certification and 3 years of coding experience
· 95% accuracy
· Concurrent coding experience
· Strong communication skills
