SHIPPER/RECEIVER, SERVICE
- Shippers/receivers route units to and from agent work benches. This task directly affects the productivity of agents. It is critical that they ensure that agents have a constant supply of units to be repaired.
- Shippers/receivers receive, verify, and document incoming shipments from stores and outside services, and by doing this, they help minimize service center costs.
- Shippers/receivers coordinate and prepare outgoing units shipped to the stores and outside services. This ensures turn-time is minimized and customer satisfaction is improved.
Prepares repaired merchandise for shipment back to stores:
- Picks up completed units in MIT trays from technicians’ work area; consolidates units on carts or in stacks of MIT trays for shipping; uses computerized system to prepare customer packing list and shipping manifest; for each store places packing list and one copy of manifest on cart/MIT pallet; gives remaining two copies of manifest to truck driver; ensures that driver signs manifest.
Maintains all shipping/receiving for out of state stores:
- Loads/unloads out of state trucks; receives driver’s signature on shipping manifests; identifies shipping discrepancies and exception receives as necessary.
High school diploma preferred, 1 year job related experience required
