Description:
• Report to work area on time and ready to work. This includes attending the shift•s start-up meeting.
• Retrieve order from cart, inspect, scan label and pack slip to ensure correct items.
• Determine if insurance is necessary for item(s) ordered.
• Select and make box in the correct size for item(s) ordered.
• Ensure proper packaging methods are used according to partner specifications.
• Include any necessary drop-ins in the package.
• Place any necessary postage/priority labels on package, close package, and/or place on line.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Stock and re-stock packing station.
• Retrieve packing cart.
• Clear dunnage line when needed.
• If necessary, process Hazmat.
• Cross-trained in other positions within current department.
• Complete housecleaning tasks assigned by supervision.
• Any and all other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Education 
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Experience 
0 to 2 years of packing experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal and/or written instructions.
