3rd shift
Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday
10:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Summary of Position
This position is responsible for opening and sorting FERP customer remittances using Opex 50 mail opening equipment in preparation for further processing either through the imaging system or manual data entry.

Duties:
• Open incoming mail using Opex 50 mail opening equipment.
• Examine envelope contents to determine process ability.
• Sort contents following customer guidelines.
• Bundle and label all work following department procedures for further processing or return to the customer.
• Maintain accurate production information, record individual activity, time spent on each activity, breaks and non-production time.
• Empty trash, vacuum machine, and sweep floor around work area at the end of the shift.

Requirements:
• Ability to meet and maintain established production standards.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movement.
• Ability to lift 20-30 lbs. 1-2 times daily.
• Previous 10-key calculator experience helpful.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
