ASSISTANT MANAGER-RETAIL SALES
You may know that managing a store means paying attention to merchandising and operations, customer service, and sales goals. But, it's more than that. Day to day
Today, you might be conducting a weekly training session for the sales team. Tomorrow, you'll open the store and do a walk-through - and later, explain the details of a new service contract to a confused customer. And, you might spend a morning role-playing with your team to help them sharpen their skills or learn to deal with challenging situations. And, you will provide informal coaching and support during the course of any given day. | Qualifications | You'll need 2-3 years of management experience in retail or another environment with a strong customer focus. A college degree is preferred. Just as important as your ability to make sales and run the store is your ability to lead, motivate, communicate, and generally interact with people in a positive way.
