Reference Code: 872873-EQG Description: Under general direction, you will design, implement, and maintain complex databases with respect to access methods, access times, device allocation, validation checks, organization, performance tuning, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods. The position includes maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design. You must be competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database management and act as the Lead Database Analyst of projects related to business intelligence and knowledge management. Perform database design, maintenance, performance tuning, and disaster recovery. Define and document the conceptual/ abstract building blocks that lead to comprehensive system level data architecture. Work closely with business analysts to model the business process and define and develop system level data architecture.
Requirements: Senior SQL DBA Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and six years of experience in the Information Technology field, or an Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field and eight years of experience in the Information Technology field (preferred) · Significant experience of ten years in the Information Technology field can be substituted for the education requirement · Five years of experience in the development of database, data warehouse, and data mart solutions (required) · Experience utilizing business intelligence tools (a plus) · Must have experience in Oracle (10g, 9i) and/or SQL Sever (2005, 2000, and 7.0 or 6.5.) preferably in a cluster environment · Excellent communication skills for the internal and external customer
