Currently we are seeking individuals for the following position: Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)
Job Responsibilities: • Maintain machinery/forklifts/building per requirements • Conduct preventative maintenance on machines • Troubleshoot machine problems • Collect and Analyze data to aid in problem solving. • Continuous improvements to the maintenance department. • Assist in process improvements • Support plant on any required needs
Skills Required to be considered: • Must have 1 - 3 years maintenance experience, preferably in automotive/manufacturing industry • Good communication skills • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical 100V and 480V, pneumatics and hydraulics • Accepts high level of responsibility • Willing and able to work overtime when necessary, including weekends. (Overtime can be mandatory, given on a short notice and could be on different shifts) • Willing to travel when necessary • Willing to attend additional training as required • Able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities • Electrical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic knowledge a plus • Previous experience in maintenance a plus • Excellent computer skills in a Windows environment utilizing Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, Mainframe. • Willing to learn MP2 software to support machine preventative maintenance. • Good organizational skills. • Excellent attendance record with no history of disciplinary problems. • Proven dedication to total Quality and Continuous Improvement.
