Requisition Number: -25981 Job Description: Stored Value Solutions is one of the innovative forces behind gift cards and we create, manage and grow gift card programs for some of the best-known retailers. We help businesses of all kinds discover the power of stored value to build brands, generate incremental sales, capture new sales opportunities and forge stronger customer relationships. We provide custom gift card solutions for prepaid cards, loyalty and B2B applications and annually processes one billion transactions for 600 clients and their 580 million cardholders. The Billing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of customer billing related processes. This includes independent calculations, analysis and ultimately the preparation and posting of an invoice. This position will respond to billing inquiries from customers and other internal departments, managing issues through resolution. Under strict month-end deadlines, this position will reconcile source reports provided by other departments, creating customer billing and accruals. This role requires the ability to work under extreme pressure situations and still maintain accuracy. This role will assist with routine audits of customer contracts, ensuring that the customer is being billed completely and accurately and provide support to accounting management and participate in special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years experience in a similar accounting position required. Associates degree in Accounting is preferred. Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively and demonstrated the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment. Must have superior customer service skills with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues. Must have excellent communication skills; both verbal and written. Must possess proven problem-solving abilities, including the ability to identify problems and take ownership through resolution. Must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Visual Enterprise software would be helpful. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefit package.
