Refund Processor I or II -32639 DT

Description:
Three positions available
Hiring Level will depaend on experience and qualifications

Refund Processor I

Handles claims refunds and correspondence received from patients, provider and other insurance companies. Essential duties to include, but are not limited to: Sorts, routes and enters refund information on the COR system utilizing dual monitors. Handles follow-up and phone contact as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
OR

Refund Processor II

 Handles claims refunds and correspondence received from patients, providers and other insurance companies. Essential duties to include, but are not limited to: Sorts, routes and enters refund information on COR system utilizing dual monitors. Routes information to the appropriate areas for adjusting. Handles follow-up and phone contact as needed. Works with providers. Handles reports and work distributions; monitors the audits. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Refund Processor I
· High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
· Good analytical and communication skills.
· Requires basic keyboard proficiency and familiarity with basic PC office software.
OR

Refund Processor II

· High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
· 2-3 years related experience.
· Good analytical skills.
· Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills.
· Strong PC skills.
· Good problem-solving skills.
