Description
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer hardware and software, including personal computer networks, peripheral equipment, and client side electronic mail. Assess user training needs and trains users in the effective use of applications. Make recommendations regarding hardware and software acquisitions. Prepare documentation and provide user assistance. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages. Install, assemble, and configure computers, including monitors, network infrastructure, peripherals, and related hardware. Act as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data. Assist users assess needs and provide justification for equipment and services. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience with general computer installation, maintenance, and repair or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above
• 2 years of experience in a customer service-centric environment
• 2 years of experience with any Microsoft Office Suite
• 2 years of experience with Windows XP Operating System
• Secret clearance
• AA or AS degree in CS, IT, or a related field
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with A+, Network+, and Security+
• Microsoft and Cisco Certifications
Clearance:
