Job Responsibilities
Summary of Position

This position is focused on creating and delivering high quality custom code/object components that are low/medium complexity. Responsibilities include: analysis; development/modification of new applications, interfaces, and reports; create technical specifications; when required assist support in resolution of production defects.

Responsibilities
· Develop detailed program/data model specifications for low/medium complexity items.
· Create quality code/objects to match specification and performs unit testing.
· Create appropriate documentation of the code
· Participates in migration meetings (submits materials/makes pilot recommendations)
· Ensures successful development to support transition
· Adhere to Software Development Lifecycle Methodology
· Provide clear communication to appropriate stakeholders - project meetings, status reports
· Proactively identify problems and make recommendations regarding solutions
· Assist the support team in supporting and troubleshoot production systems as required, optimizing performance and resolving production problems (low to medium complexity items) 

Job Requirements
Requirements
· Bachelor in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
· 0-2 years of demonstrated hands on experience in creating technical specifications, application development, and testing. Experience should include:
· Practical hands on experience in multiple technologies (applications, languages & platforms)
· Create technical specifications, produce executable code that satisfy functional specifications Preferred
· Internship/Co-op work experience
· Experience performing root cause analysis
