Position Summary: FOR INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY
An internal candidate is defined as a current EKU employee. Temporary employees working at EKU through an outside "temp" agency and students are not considered internal candidates.
Provide supervision to the custodial staff and direct them in keeping all university buildings clean and maintained to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the administration, faculty, staff, students and the community as a whole. Provides supervision to the custodial staff and assigned buildings for the daily maintenance outlined in established procedures. Performs routine inspections of maintenance of facilities as required by established policies. Oversees the inventory control of custodial and maintenance equipment and supplies as outlined in established procedures. Maintains records of time, materials, and resources according to established procedures and as directed.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience Qualifications: One year of custodial experience required.
Desired Qualifications Some experience with supervisor responsibilities is preferred.
