Rural Domestic Preparedness Training Center - Master Instruc

Requisition Number 0604252 Position Summary: The Rural Domestic Preparedness Training Center has an opening for the position of Master Instructor. The Instructor will be required to teach as needed, U.S. Department of Homeland Security certified courses as developed by the Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium. The Master instructor will also instruct Train-the-Trainer courses as required, and Pilot Courses required by Department of Homeland Security during the new course certification process.
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum Experience Qualifications: Teaching experience and/or training is required. Desired Qualifications Preference given to Master Degrees from an accredited College and work experience of at least seven years which may include a combination of the following fields: CBRN, Mass Casualty Incidents, Anti Terrorism or Counter Terrorism, Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Service, Emergency Management, Fire Service, Hazardous Materials, Public Works, Government Administration, Public Safety Communications Health Care or Public Health. Preference related to experience will be given dependent upon the discipline that most closely matches the course(s) to be delivered. Trainers will have experience in Adult Education and/or Instructor Certification as a trainer from a recognized academy, college, or university.
