Position Summary:
FOR INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY
An internal candidate is defined as a current EKU employee. Temporary employees working at EKU through an outside "temp" agency and students are not considered internal candidates.
An EKU Senior Accounting Clerk provides support to the Financial Affairs division through coordination, communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and office management to promote the mission and goals of the division and the university. Utilizing knowledge of accounting and financial procedures to provide excellent customer service to ensure all financial applications are accurate and consistent with the University's policy and procedure. Provide accounting functions for non-student/student/grant receivables and income and/or expense accounts. Process and reconcile accounting transactions. Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, staff, and/or faculty related to relevant accounts.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Qualifications:
Two years of financial, office, or customer service experience is required.
