Job Description:

In order to be eligible to apply for this position, you must:

· Be employed by our staffing partner, Elwood Staffing, and be working on-site at one of our Brightpoint locations.

SUMMARY
Receives, stores, and distributes products by performing the following duties. Accomplishes all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Major Essential Functions:
· Identifies priorities daily and reprioritizes tasks to ensure the accurate and timely completion of the day's duties.
· Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, programmed or distributed.
· Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas utilizing forklift or other equipment.
· Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
· Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
· Accurately assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to cargo packing station or shipping department.

Minor Essential Functions:
· Uses RF Scanning Gun to pick orders.
· Uses PC to program and or ship outbound orders
· Complies with OSHA requirements
· Ensures the rapid and accurate completion of all shipping
· May assist with receiving and packaging as needed
· Assists manager in troubleshooting errors and other related issues.
· Marks materials with identifying information.
· Maintains clean, orderly work environment.
· Participates in inventory counts.
· Substantial overtime and weekend work may be required at times.

Experience and Skills:
Warehouse experience preferred, but not required

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to utilize forklift and pallet jack.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
May require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. May also require the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
