Position Summary:
The Director of the Rural Domestic Preparedness Center based in Somerset, Kentucky represents the RDPC, a national training center, in its relationship with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Grants and Training, various other Office of Grants and Training partners, the National Domestic Preparedness Consortium, university and college partners, state department of homeland security directors, and the emergency response community. The mission of the RDPC is to aid the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Grants and Training in domestic preparedness efforts in rural America through training, technical assistance, and information dissemination.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Master's Degree in related emergency response field.
Minimum Experience Qualifications: Ten years of experience in homeland security, public safety, public administration, and/or higher education.
