Senior Collector – 0800057840

Description
The Senior Collector works in the Collections/Risk Operations environment and will typically work in a number of specialized collections areas, including e-gate, or recovery collections. They work in multiple stages of delinquency, up to and including charged off accounts, or across various product types. The Senior Collector handles extensive research requirements for more complex billing problems and inquiries and has extensive knowledge of the organization, products or services, as well as advanced problem solving skills. The Senior Collector sometimes coaches other less experienced collectors on policies, procedures or problem solving.

Other: Contacting debtors for payment arrangements and/or negotiating settlements.
Maintenance of pertinent accounts information.
Obtain information documentation such as chargeback detail for individual files.
Recording payments to appropriate account.
Follow up collection letters.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
Required: Strong verbal and written communications skills.
1 to 2 years collection experience required.
Ability to interact with all levels of management.
Proficient in Word and Excel.
Must be multi tasked oriented.
