Job Description
The Consulting Sales Associate is required to solicit and execute Fellon-McCord Consulting & Management Services contracts to meet the goals established by the Sales Director. Additionally, this position will be responsible for client Account Management (as assigned) and product delivery including all physical, financial, regulatory and legislative energy market requirements in support of the fulfillment of Fellon-McCord energy procurement and management needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Consulting with existing Fellon-McCord and CNEG customers on a regular basis to discuss market trends, risk management strategies, tariff rate schedule changes and any other issues required to meet the company's contractual obligations to its customers.
• Meeting individual sales goals established by the Sales Director.
• Ensuring internal and external client satisfaction.
• Scheduling meetings with qualified end use customers to explain Fellon-McCord and/or CNEG product offerings.
• Performing such tasks as reasonably necessary to identify potential management/consulting and/or energy sales end use customers.
• Participating in industry conferences, coordinating in planning events as required and endeavoring to identify qualified prospects during such events.
• Delivering proposal and other relevant information to potential customers to effectuate execution of Fellon-McCord and/or CNEG contracts.
• Performing all ancillary work tasks in support of Fellon-McCord/CNEG's business as may be directed by company managers.
Skills Required:
• Required - BS of BA degree in a business related field such as Marketing, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Required - Four years or more of industrial sales experience.
• Exceptional communication skills to function in a team environment and to maintain rapport with customers, direct reports, co-workers and employees.
• Experienced presentation skills with leadership ability to orchestrate customer and internal team meetings intended to acquire new clients or to retain existing clients.
• Travel as required by Fellon-McCord and CNEG customers' and businesses' needs.
• High level of proficiency in Excel with a working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and the Internet.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information at all times.
• Understanding of current industry physical, financial markets, regulatory, legislative, and other factors affecting U.S. and global energy markets.
• Awareness of all the key competitors within the U.S. and global competitive markets.
• Flexibility on the job and the ability to work under multiple, daily deadlines.
