Description:
Provides technical support for Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) in the Battle Command Training Center (BCTC) classrooms and Battle Staff Integration Course (BSIC), and other similar systems as required: which includes the Air Missile Defense Workstation System (AMDWS), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Effects Management Tool (EMT), All Source Analysis System Light (ASAS-L), Battle Command Sustainment Support System (BCS3), Battle Command Common Services (BCCS), Maneuver Control System Workstation (MCS WS), Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2), Joint Advanced Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS), Global Command and Control System (GCCS), and Command Post of the Future (CPOF). Requirements: Prepares technical recommendations in support of training. Troubleshoots hardware, software, and communications systems. Responsible for the loading, updating, and accountability of all ABCS system software for the BCTC. Prepares, coordinates and executes system architecture set-up for all collective training events and exercises. Provides cross training to other Technicians. Assets: Experience in current Army tactical simulation tools. Administrative knowledge of Microsoft Server 2003, Exchange Servers, XP, Linux/UNIX, Active Directory, and SharePoint. Security Clearance Required.
