Job Description:

The Market Product Manager is the expert on the Power Generation and Petrochemical market segments among others as assigned. They are responsible for the day-to-day management of a product or family of products at all stages of their product life cycle, including new product development (ACE) and including budget planning. This position exists to investigate and recommend the business strategy for achieving planned profits and implements the market plan for producing results within the responsible market segment. Also responsible for working closely and planning with Corporate Marcom and AMSG Divisional Marketing.

Experience and Skills:
· BS degree in business, marketing, engineering, or relevant technical field or equivalency. An MBA is desired.
· Three to five years of global strategic marketing, sales, or equivalent experience.
· Five years Industrial , Petrochemical and/or Power Generation Marketing experience required including complete understanding of brand and channel strategy and prior demonstration of ability to leverage brands and channels to drive organic growth.
· Candidate must have an understanding of product portfolio management thyat includes product roadmapping, business cases, new product development and maintenance, pricing, product launches, and product life obsolescence.
· Ability to work in a matrix team environment, directing internal and external resources to execute marketing strategies - sales, engineering, marketing, customer service.
· Broad knowledge of market research and analysis tools, techniques and applications.
· Excellent organizational , oral and written communication skills.
