Job Description:
Responsibilities
The Project Leader in the Oracle Center of Excellence (CoE) for GE Consumer & Industrial will be responsible for:
• Leading Oracle ERP projects from concept through the entire software development lifecycle (Define, Requirements, Design, Build, Launch, Closure)
• Partnering with global business leaders to improve business processes through Oracle ERP solutions
• Leading global technical teams in the design and deployment of Oracle ERP solutions to meet business requirements.
• Ensuring rigor of project execution, budget/scope management, and adherence to Global IT practices (Critical Chain, E-Process, etc)
• Facilitating transition of projects to RTS support following production release.
• Building strong partnerships with functional IT teams to ensure effective project delivery and drive simplification of business processes related to the Oracle platform.
• Developing/growing functional and technical expertise in the Oracle ERP platform.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Information Management, Engineering or other technical areas.
• Demonstrated success in implementation of complex projects in cross-functional environments.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in IT.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on Oracle Applications implementation and support.

Desired
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels and across clients and internal IT teams.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in managing the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Application Solutions.
• Strong organizational, planning and execution skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, but also collaborate effectively with a global team.
• GE Information Management Leadership Program Graduate (GE candidates).
• Six Sigma Certified, Lean Manufacturing or TOC experience
• Proven track record of managing large projects with a combination of on and offshore resources.
• Multi-lingual (English + Spanish/Portuguese/Mandarin) a plus.
