Refund Processor II -33355 SM
Description
Handles claims refunds and correspondence received from patients, providers and other insurance companies. Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:
• Sorts, logs and enters refund information on an excel spreadsheet.
• Sends information to the appropriate areas for adjusting.
• Handles follow-up and phone contact as needed.
• Works with providers.
• Handles reports and work distributions; monitors the audits.
• Has a safe at their desk.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years related experience.
• Recovery refund processor experience preferred
• Familiarity with COR,ACR and FACETS systems
• Good analytical skills.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills.
• Strong PC skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
