Position Summary:
Has a complete working knowledge of steam and gas boiler Heat Plant operations and campus 4wide steam distribution. Is capable of providing operational and maintenance direction to all Heat plant staff as well as to vocations and professions extant the Heat Plant that are necessary for successful operation. Plans and supervises all Heat Plant equipment repairs including their extent, frequency, implementation schedule, quoting, parts acquisition, staffing and division of responsibility between staff and vendors to meet the seasonal steam generation requirements without interruption and at lowest possible utility cost. Makes on-going operational decisions required to provide varying steam demand at highest efficiency and lowest possible utility cost.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Qualifications: Five years of related experience is required
