JobCode: 17219 Overview: GENERAL PURPOSE Contact customers and prospect within a defined geographic territory to sell FedEx Freight services. Focus on personal sales targets by developing new profitable business opportunities, and retain and penetrate existing accounts, troubleshooting customer problems and enhancing existing customer relationships.
Position Information: · Responsible for maintenance and/or revenue growth for all accounts in assigned district · Determine needs of customers and ensure those needs are met · Follow all processes required to ensure the company's specific objectives are achieved · Analyze account profitability, trends in customer shipping patterns, and revenue report for assigned district · Develop/maintain rapport with operations · Promote self development through continuing education and enhancing knowledge of the competitive marketplace Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures · Perform other assignments (or duties) as required
