Business Systems Analyst

Description:

Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst. Responsibilities:
· Analyze business and user needs, documents requirements and translates into proper system requirements specifications
· Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements
· Applies extensive knowledge of the customer's business and industry to develop project specifications for new or existing systems
· Performs, or may direct, document development at various stages of a project life cycle (ex: planning through implementation) to detail analysis results and solution recommendations
· Ensures compliance with the standards and organization requirements relative to specific assignments. May also supervise analysis tasks and/or lead projects
· Works with other project leads, functionals and clients to gather and/or clarify enterprise requirements
· Collaborate with clients, users, functionals and project leaders to help prioritize future projects and requirements
· Create and maintain requirements training plans and documentation and present as needed
· Mentor project analysts in requirements development and requirements Management

Requirements:
The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:
· Six years of technical experience in applications software development, two years as a Business Analyst
· Ability to work at a technical level for all phases of applications activities
· Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America

Preferred but not required:
· Experience with CaliberRM
· MS Project Experience
· ITIL, CMMI and or ISO experience
