Part time Receptionist
Job Summary/Basic Function
Position is responsible for all operations related to the switchboard and assists with clerical support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answer switchboard calls, disseminating calls to the proper department, take and leave messages when appropriate.
Greet college visitors, directing them to the proper areas.
Provide basic college information in the absence of appropriate personnel.
Assist in clerical functions as needed.
Dispense parking permits to students.
Provide faculty and staff with information related to use of the phone system as requested.
Must possess excellent communication skills, ability to maintain professional behavior and image. Secretarial/clerical training or two years experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Receptionist/Switchboard experience preferred.
Other Requirements: Work Hours: Flexible - Some weekends and evenings.
