Job Description:
Responsibilities

Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas of expertise.
• Lead AP1 1st shift maintenance to maximize plant performance and reduce operating costs.
• Promote and insure workplace safety and health, reduce workplace injuries and illnesses, and correct safety and health concerns as identified.
• Create and implement an effective preventative maintenance program and plan projects for facility improvements from concept to completion.
• Coordinate facilities initiatives with Operations team to support production.
• Ensure that equipment and services purchased are acceptable quality and cost effective.
• Develop and coordinate department proposals for facilities projects.
• Confer with contractors, and engineers and develop justifications for plans and projects.
• Evaluate projects on site, review work of contractors, coordinate and supervise activities related to the maintaining and repairing of physical systems of building and equipment, and close out projects.
• Negotiate, maintain and review contracts for third party contractors.
• Communicate and negotiate with union representatives.
• Establish and sustain a culture that promotes a safe and positive work environment.

• BS Degree or equivalent.
• Green Belt certified.
