Reference Code: 845448-EQG Description: The Operations Anaqlyst provides centralized end user technical support and security administration for Active Directory; Novell, SQL, Oracle, Unix and Lotus notes; responds to users technical security related questions; is capable of using help desk software to log and track problems. This role proactively identifies, evaluates, and solves problems with rigorous logic and a systematic approach; looks beyond the obvious to see root cause issues and creative solutions. You will provide level two technical support to end-users of company systems, providing security administration for PC, Operating systems, Applications and Data, supplying direction to all company associates seeking technological assistance. You will partner with peers to identify areas of improvement within the IT department and the company-at-large, providing solutions in the form of new standards and procedures. You will answer calls from internal users, providing effective second-level support and documenting your work in the company's tracking system. This role triages reported problems to determine the most efficient manner of resolution, and simulates or recreates operating difficulties, recommending system modifications and communicating with other IT departments to correct core issues.

Requirements: Role essentials include: 2 years of corporate IT experience, in security administration using Windows Active Directory, Novell, SQL, Oracle, and Unix and security networking skills, and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Access. Role desirables include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
