Our client, located in Shepherdsville, KY, has a 6-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity for an experienced Java Developer.
Essential Functions:
· High level software design
· Develop unit tests
· Implement design (write code)
· Assist testing group in designing overall functional tests
· Modify code for product improvements and bug fixes
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
· 1 year of Java development experience
· Required: Java, J2EE, JDBC, and application design skills
· Preferred: JSP, Servlets, and JSF skills
· Ability to communicate complex technical details to a non-technical audience
· Ability to transform broad business requirements into a technical design
· Ability to consistently deliver results on-time with a high level of quality
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
· Conflict resolution skills
· Willing and able to operate as part of a team and work in a manufacturing environment
