Pediatric Infusion Nurse - Louisville, KY

Responsibilities:

A Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides direct and indirect patient care services under a physician's plan of care and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Option Care, the state's professional standards, and regulatory entities. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment of all patients assigned to him/her, establishing and implementing the plan of care plan, educating patients/caregivers, evaluating progress toward goals and making recommendations to the physician for changes in the plan of care based on patients needs.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with valid license in state(s) of practice.
Valid and current driver's license and evidence of automobile insurance.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse.
Flexibility and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and oral) with team members, patients, caregivers, physicians and referral sources.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Home Health Care and previous Infusion Experience. BSN preferred but not required.
